"I’ve always believed food is the most honest way to tell a story. I love food because it slows people down and invites conversation, turning an ordinary evening into something people remember. There’s something powerful about watching a table go quiet for that first bite and then come alive again with laughter and connection. I test recipes in my kitchen, tweak details, and plate dishes until they feel just right. I pull ideas from everywhere, including family traditions, restaurants I’ve loved, seasonal produce, and even random cravings that won’t leave me alone.
The menu for this dinner party came together by asking myself what I wanted guests to experience, whether that was comfort, surprise, warmth, or nostalgia, and built each course around that. More than anything, I hope people leave this event feeling full in more ways than one, full from a thoughtfully prepared meal and full from conversation, connection, and the energy of sharing a table. If guests walk away inspired to host their own dinners, try something new, or simply slow down and savor a moment, then I’ve done what I set out to do.
At the end of the day, this is about creating space for joy, community, and memories, and I’m grateful to share that table with you."
